Consultation

Quick Consult
Our process usually starts with a phone or email conversation to gain a general idea of the scope of your project, the existing conditions, and your particular needs. Here, we also can confirm that your project is within our “wheelhouse” and address general questions regarding budget and schedule. Just a point question? Send us an email and we will get back with a quick answer or refer you to another source if appropriate.

On-Site Appointments
In-person appointments are scheduled with you and an LHW business owner or skilled supervisor to discuss your needs in detail, inspect each window, and note details to provide a written estimate for the work. On-site work is contracted as Time and Materials for pricing best suited to Client and Contractor. General Contractors can receive a Fixed Price or Not To Exceed contract to suit AIA standards.

Historic Property Assessments
We are well versed in providing written and photo documented reports and other application requirements for public agencies such as Denver Landmark Preservation as well as preparing detailed reports requested for real estate valuation and negotiation on an hourly consulting fee basis.

Reports and Specifications
Our professional services offer support for Historic Windows drawings and specifications to meet an architect’s project needs as well as reports for real estate sales or project budgeting, detail often lacking in standard home inspection reports.
